Michael T. Callahan has been involved with the intersection of construction and law for over 40 years. Throughout that time Michael has authored over ten legal textbooks concerning construction disputes, as well as numerous annual supplements, manuals, and articles. During his tenure with CCL Construction Consultants, Inc., Michael has worked on hundreds of construction disputes and consultations regarding the evaluation of construction disruption, variations, and claims, use and analysis network schedules in proof and refutation of delays, and forensic schedule analysis. Most recently, Michael was retained by the International Chamber of Commerce as a delay and schedule expert to a three-person Arbitration Tribunal in London to review a dispute on a Finnish nuclear power plant.
In addition to his time working in the commercial industry, Michael has also served as an adjunct professor at both the University of Kansas and Iowa State University. Michael is a member of the American Bar Association (Public Contract Law Section, Forum Committee on Construction Industry) and the American Arbitration Association (past U.S. Construction Industry Advisory Committee).
