Jose Antonio is a tax director in the TRS-GCS Group in PwC Mexico and he is focused on reviewing and preparing the tax compliance for local companies and foreign subsidiaries.
He was part of the International Tax Services team and was seconded for three years to PwC Madrid. He has extensive experience in international transactions between Mexican and foreign entities; particularly in business acquisitions, Mexican investments and restructuring operations, also providing support to the PwC audit department.
Jose Antonio is a member of the Mexican College of Public Accountants (CCPM) and the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP). He was president of the Accountant Students Committee at the CCPM from 2006 to 2007.
Jose Antonio has a BS degree in Accountancy from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) and a Master’s Degree in Taxes, specialized in International Taxation from the Universidad Panamericana (UP).
Jose Antonio has been co-author in various Mexican tax update articles and he is also a part-time tax professor.
