Georgia D. Koutouzos is a Senior Legal Analyst at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S., where she has written and edited publications on a variety of specialty law topics during her nearly 30-year career in legal publishing. Currently, she oversees three periodicals—AVIATION LAW REPORTER, NUCLEAR REGULATION REPORTER, and COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT TRANSACTIONS—and is a contributing writer on Products Liability Law Daily.
Previously, Georgia served as the Developmental Editor for Wolters Kluwer’s Family and Elder Law product portfolio, which includes the American Journal of Family Law and the well-recognized treatise, LORING AND ROUNDS: A TRUSTEE’S HANDBOOK. She also has edited the Air Pollution Consultant and The Week in Congress, is the author of pamphlets and white papers on a wide range of subjects, and is a 2016 recipient of a Wolters Kluwer Excellence in Action award.
Georgia has a B.A. in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.A. from the University of Illinois’ Institute of Labor & Employment Relations. She obtained her J.D. from Drake University Law School, is a member of the Iowa Bar, and worked as a third-party neutral in public sector labor relations at the state and federal levels.
