Daniel White is a principal in the Transactional Tax practice at Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. White's practice focuses primarily in domestic and cross-border corporate and partnership tax planning, including acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, spin-offs, and restructuring transactions. He regularly represents public and private operating companies as well as venture capital and private equity funds.
For 10 years, Mr. White was an adjunct professor of law at Washington University School of Law where he taught tax-free reorganizations, restructurings, and spin-offs. Mr. White is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School (J.D., 1998) and Duke University (A.B., 1993).
He is admitted to the Missouri bar. He was included by St. Louis Business Journal in its ‘40 Under 40’ 2010. His recent publications include Recognizing Loss Across Borders (Tax Executives Institute, April 2015) and Contingent Liabilities and Deferred Revenue in M&A Transactions (Tax Executives Institute, November 2015).
