Our return/cancellation policies vary by product line and format. For complete information, please click on the product line below. We suggest that all returns be sent using a traceable method. Please allow up to six weeks for the return to appear on your statement.

CCH reserves the right to change its policies and terms and conditions of sale at any time. You are encouraged to review them from time to time. Any changes made are effective when issued and apply to any orders, licenses, and subscriptions commencing following the publication of any such changes.

Book Cancellation Policy

Books returned within 30 days along with the invoice marked “cancel” will receive full credit. This applies to an order for quantities of less than 50 copies.

Enrollment of a title in our standing order program may be cancelled at any time. There is no minimum purchase requirement. For new edition(s) or supplement(s) sent to you on a standing order basis maybe returned within 30 days of the invoice date. CCH does not automatically charge the credit card or Account Number used as payment for your initial purchase. If you do not return any new editions or supplements sent to you on a standing order basis by the end of the 30-day period, you are responsible for paying the full invoice for the new edition or supplement.

E-Book Cancellation

Cancellations for credit will be processed prior to downloading an E-Book. However, once a download has occurred, no credit will be issued.

Subscription Cancellation

All new subscriptions may be declined within the first 30 days for full credit. After the 30-day review period, the CCH cancellation policy will apply. Renewal subscriptions will receive credit if cancelled prior to the renewal date. After the renewal date, the 1-4 months cancellation credit amount of 25% applies. That policy is as follows:

If your cancellation request is received by CCH prior to the 10th of the month, that cancellation will be effective the 1st of that month. If your cancellation request is received after the 10th of the month that cancellation will be effective the 1st of the following month. Please see the scale below to determine the amount of credit, if any, that you would receive should you choose to cancel your subscription.

Internet Multiple Year Agreement: MYA

There is no trial period for special Multiple Year Agreement ("MYA") renewal orders. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in the applicable CCH/Customer Agreement, if the MYA is cancelled during the first 12 months of the 2-year term, the customer shall pay an early termination charge of 75% of the total multi-year contract price less any amount previously paid toward the contract. If the MYA is cancelled after month 12, the balance of the total contract price shall be due.

CCH reserves the right to modify all terms and conditions. You are encouraged to review these terms and conditions from time to time. Any modifications shall be effective when issued and shall apply to any orders, licenses, and subscriptions commenced following the publications of any such modifications.

Cancellation of Enrollment of Subscription(s) in the CCH auto renewal program

Should you decide for any reason that you no longer wish a title to be enrolled in the automatic renewal program, you may cancel the enrollment at any time. You can cancel by calling Customer Service at 800-248-3248. You can also choose not to renew at any time before the invoice for the renewal is due by returning the invoice marked “CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.” Subscription enrolled in our automatic renewal program does not affect our cancellation policy. Please see that policy above as well as the scale to determine the amount of credit, if any, that you would receive should you choose to cancel your subscription itself.

Business Compliance Training Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Participants who are unable to attend the training can reschedule within 30 days. If training is not rescheduled within 30 days, no credit will be issued.

CCHLearning CenterSeats

No credit will be issued to your account should you choose to cancel your CCH Learning Center Seats subscription. Cancellations must be received prior to the renewal start date to avoid incurring any renewal charges to your account. Each subscription learning seat is assigned to an individual and it is not transferable.

CCH Training Tools in PowerPoint (CTPP)

No credit will be issued to your account should you choose to cancel your CCH Training Tools in PowerPoint subscription. Cancellations must be received prior to the renewal start date to avoid incurring any renewal charges to your account.

MediRegs ComplyTrack Suite

This product is non-cancelable/non-refundable. No credit or refunds will be issued. Please refer to your contract for additional terms.

Technical Answers Group (TAG Data)

This product is cancelled on a prorate basis.

Tax and Accounting Training Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Participants who are unable to attend the training can reschedule. If training is not rescheduled, no credit will be issued.

WSP: Written Supervisory Procedures Cancellation

No credit will be issued to your account should you choose to cancel your new or renewal Written Supervisory Procedures subscription.

ZIPsales Subscription Cancellation

New Zip Sales software subscriptions may be returned for full credit within the first 30 days. After this review period, no credit will be given should you choose to cancel your ZIPsales subscription. Renewal subscriptions will receive credit if cancelled prior to the renewal date. After the renewal date, the 1-4 months cancellation credit amount of 25% applies.


Orders Fulfilled for US Customers by Aspen Publishers (out of our Frederick, MD location)

Aspen Publishers products are sent to you Risk-Free for 30 days. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, simply return it to us in its original condition within 45 days of the invoice date with the invoice (or copy) marked Cancel. We will gladly process your return during that time for a full credit or refund.

Aspen Publishers Law School Texts and Ancillary Materials

All returned products must be sent in their original condition (no markings, highlighting, stickers or stamps) within 45 days of the invoice date in order to receive a full credit or refund. Any return received after that date will not be accepted. Moreover, the return must be shipped in its original carton or one of similar construction.

Please send book(s) postage paid via traceable method and retain proof of shipment.

With the exception of standing orders and separate arrangements with our sales staff, Kluwer Law International B.V. grants six months right of return. Permission to return should be requested in writing, books must be in resalable condition, and a copy of the original invoice and/or full invoice details, including your account number, price, discount, invoice number and date of invoice should be sent to our warehouse.

Online or Print Subscription Cancellation

No cancellation can be accepted for a current subscription if the subscription is active and the payment has been processed.
