The Department of the Treasury has released a notice of availability and request for comments on an application by the Board of Trustees of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Local No. 7 Pension Fund to reduce benefits under the plan pursuant to the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014 (MPRA). The notice announces that the application is available on the Treasury Department’s website and seeks comments on the application from interested parties, including contributing employers, employee organizations, and participants and beneficiaries of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Local 7 Pension Fund.
Written comments, which should be received by February 24, 2020, may be submitted by the following methods: electronically using the Federal eRulemaking Portal: http://www.regulations.gov; and by mail to the Department of the Treasury, MPRA Office, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW., Room 1224, Washington, DC 20220, Attn: Danielle Norris. Electronic submissions through www.regulations.gov are encouraged.
