The Department of Labor is submitting the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) sponsored information collection request concerning petitions for a finding under ERISA Sec. 3(40), to the Office of Management and Budget for review and approval, without change. This collection concerns petitions to the Department of Labor for a finding of whether an employee benefit plan is established or maintained under or pursuant to one or more collective bargaining agreements. Among other requirements, petitions and affidavits by parties seeking a finding must be submitted. The DOL seeks an extension for three more years. Public comments are invited.
