SSA seeks comments on proposed information gathering activity

The Social Security Administration is soliciting comments from the public regarding an information gathering activity that has already been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for clearance. 

Specifically, the SSA wants feedback on the need for the information solicited and its practical utility; the accuracy of the agency's burden estimate; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the manner in which the information is collected; and ways to minimize the burden on respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology. 

The information gathering activity for which comments are sought is listed in a notice in the October 16, 2020, Federal Register (85 Fed. Reg. 65893). Comments may be mailed or faxed to the addresses and numbers listed in the notice. 

Comments due by November 16, 2020 . Comments are due by November 16, 2020, for the following item, which has already been submitted to the OMB for consideration: Work Activity Report (Self-Employment)(SSA-829-BK).
