Rhode Island sets its UI/TDI taxable wages bases, UI contribution rates

For 2019, the UI taxable wage base will be $23,600 and the UI taxable wage base for employers at the highest contribution rate will be $25,100. Also, for 2019, the TDI taxable wage base will be $71,000.

For 2019, contribution rates for experience-rated employers are determined under Schedule G and range from 1.10% to 9.70% (including the 0.21% Job Development Assessment (JDA) and the 0.08% Job Development Adjustment). The new employer rate for 2019 is 1.17% (not including the 0.21% JDA or the 0.08% adjustment) (DLT Communication).
