Rhode Island releases its UI/TDI taxable wage bases, contribution rates

The 2020 Tier 1 UI taxable wage base in Rhode Island is $24,000 and the 2020 Tier 2 UI taxable wage base is $25,500. The 2020 TDI taxable wage base is $72,300.

For 2020, contribution rates for experience-rated employers are determined under Schedule F and range from 0.90% to 9.40% (including the 0.21% Job Development Assessment (JDA)). The new employer rate for 2020 is 1.06% (not including the 0.21% JDA). The employee tax for TDI is 1.3% for 2020 (DLT Communication).
