The Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership is holding November seminars for employers and their representatives with experts from the following agencies: Minnesota Department of Revenue and Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program.
The seminars will cover:
Worker status (independent contractor vs. employee),
Employment tax basics (withholding, depositing, and reporting), and
Unemployment insurance (tax rates, wage reporting, and benefit account issues).
The seminars will be held:
Date: Thursday, November 7, 2019, Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Location: Itasca Community College - Grand Rapids, MN; and
Date: Tuesday, November 12, 2019, Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Location: Hinckley City Hall - Hinckley, MN.
