Indiana announces changes to local income tax rates

The Indiana Department of Revenue has issued a new release listing changes in some county income tax rates. The supplemental wage rate remains 3.23%. The notice will be reproduced in the Payroll Management Guide at ¶6218 in a future release. Some of the county rates have changed since the previous notice. Effective October 1, 2019, the rates will be: Clay 0.0235; Clinton: 0.0245; Dubois 0.012; Fayette 0.0257; Greene 0.0195; Hancock 0.0194; Hendricks 0.017; Johnson 0.012; Ohio 0.015; Owen 0.014; Putnam 0.021; Sullivan 0.017; and Whitley 0.016829.
