Illinois addresses changes for 2019 filing season, 2020 filing

The Illinois Department of Revenue has issued an informational bulletin that summarizes income tax return changes for individuals and businesses for the 2019 filing season and 2020 withholding income tax filing season. All Forms W-2 are due by January 31, 2020, and must be submitted electronically. For more information, the taxpayers may review Publication 110, Forms W-2, W-2c, W-2G, and 1099 Filing and Storage Requirements for Employers and Payers, including New 1099-K Electronic Filing Requirements.
