House Republican Brady has introduced the Support for Workers, Families, and Social Security Act (H.R. 8201). The bill would make clear that any deferred payroll taxes pursuant to the Presidents executive order would be forgiven. In addition, the would pull money from the federal government’s general fund to cover for the shortfall in social security funds caused by the forgiven taxes.
