Hawaii sets its 2019 contribution rates, taxable wage base, and maximum weekly benefit amount

Schedule C of the rate table continues to be in effect in Hawaii for 2019. Contribution rates for positive reserve ratio employers range from 0.0% to 2.4% and contribution rates for negative reserve ratio employers range from 2.8% to 5.6%. New employers pay 2.4% in 2019.

The taxable wage base in Hawaii for 2019 is $46,800, up $900 from the 2018 taxable wage base amount of $45,900

The maximum weekly benefit amount in Hawaii for 2019 is $630 (DLIR Communication).
