Denial of benefits decision upheld where claimant waived only issue properly before the court

The claimant was denied benefits because she failed to appear in person at her hearing and instead sent an advocate. On appeal, the court noted that the only issue raised was her request for a remand hearing, but the claimant did not list the remand hearing request as an issue in her Statement of Questions Involved nor did she argue it in her brief. The court therefore held that she had waived the only issue properly before the court (Janette A. Patterson v. UCBR, Pa. Comwth. Ct. (Unpub. Op.), No. 1861 C.D. 2019, No. 1862 C.D. 2019, September 24, 2020).
