The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) has announced that emergency tax and fee relief is available for business owners and fee payers impacted by the winter storm in Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Los Angeles, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Shasta, Sonoma, Tehama, Trinity, Ventura, and Yolo counties. Taxpayers may avail an extension of up to three months to file and pay taxes or fees, waiver of penalties and interest, and free replacement copies of tax records lost due to disasters.
