Health attorney becomes administrative partner at Norton Rose Fullbright, while McKeen & Associates attorneys receive Leading Lawyers distinction.
McKeen & Associates. McKeen & Associates attorneys were named as Leading Lawyers for 2020 and Best Lawyers for 2021. Brian McKeen, managing partner, achieved the Leading Lawyers distinction for the seventh year in a row. Jody Aaron, Norman Rosen, John LaParl, Jr., Paul Broschay, and J. Kelly Carley were also chosen for the recognition.
Norton Rose Fulbright. Norton Rose Fulbright announced that Michael A. Swartzendruber has become Partner-in-Charge of its Dallas office. Swartzendruber currently leads the litigation practice in Dallas and his practice involves business disputes with a significant emphasis on securities, antitrust, and class action matters. Swartzendruber is replacing Jonathan Skidmore, who recently became the firm’s Global Co-Head of Life and Sciences and Healthcare.
The firm also announced Denise Webb Glass has become Administrative Partner of the Dallas office. Glass leads the firm’s diversity efforts as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is a part of the firm’s healthcare transactions team where she focuses on operational, business and related regulatory issues affecting the healthcare services industry.
Steptoe & Johnson. Steptoe & Johnson LLP announced that Michael L. Weiner has joined the firm as a partner in the Antitrust and Competition practice. Weiner has experience successfully litigating class action, restraint of trade, and monopolization lawsuits in a broad range of industries in federal courts in the United States. Previously, Weiner served as co-chair of a major US-based law firm’s antitrust and competition practice for nearly a decade.
