A direct final rule (GSAR Case 2016-G502) updates General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation clauses that apply to the submission and distribution of Federal Supply Schedule price lists. The rule amends GSAR 552.238-77, Submission and Distribution of Authorized Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Price Lists, and GSAR 552.238-82, Modifications (Federal Supply Schedules), which currently refer to the submission of paper copies of the authorized FSS price list for approval by the contracting officer, and distribution of paper copies to a designated mailing list. The rule updates the clauses to reflect current practices, which require a contractor to submit the FSS price list on a common-use electronic medium prescribed by GSA. Eligible ordering activities will utilize GSA’s online shopping and ordering system to review a contractor’s price lists. The rule goes into effect on March 9, 2020, without further notice, unless GSA receives adverse comments by February 10, 2020. If GSA receives adverse comments, it will withdraw the rule. For the text of the rule, see ¶70,030.217.
