Quantico Tactical, Aberdeen, North Carolina; and Rapid Response Defense Systems Inc., Irvine, California, have collectively been awarded a $950,000,000, 10-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide equipment, training and product support to approximately 3,500 Air Force Special Warfare operators, as well as authorized users in support of Special Warfare mission requirements. Work will be performed in various U.S. locations and is expected to be completed June 2030. These awards are the result of a competitive acquisition and 17 offers were received. Fiscal 2019 other procurement funds in the amount of $2,000 are being obligated on the initial order placed against each of the contracts. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
