Virginia S. Peabody is a senior consultant in the Wagner Law Group’s Boston office. In the fields of ERISA and employee benefit plans, Ms. Peabody has extensive experience in consulting clients with issues regarding retirement plans, tax-sheltered annuities, voluntary employee benefit associations, welfare and fringe benefit plans and leave programs as well as drafting due diligence reviews and reports for these types of plans and programs. In addition, she also provides consultation regarding HIPAA privacy, security, and HITECH matters.
For companies that have retained the Wagner Law Group for human resource purposes, Ms. Peabody is responsible for performing FLSA audits, drafting affirmative action plans, reviewing and updating existing employee manuals and handbooks and their respective policies and procedures. She works closely with her clients to draft, revise, modify, and counsel matters regarding the affirmative action plans and the creation of employee handbooks. Subsequently, Ms. Peabody implements the newly created policies by creating training programs for both employees and supervisors.
Ms. Peabody graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
