Prof. Dr. Tugrul Ansay is an outstanding figure in the landscape of comparative law. In a field that holds ever-growing promise for the future, he continues to manifest his tireless spirit in a wide arc of influential activity.
As a Professor, he taught at the universities of Hamburg and Ankara Turkish law, in particular commercial law. At Koç University in Istanbul, he was the Dean for several years.
He is an Executive Board member of the German-Turkish lawyers association, which he co-founded.
In 1974, professor Ansay published ten articles as a book on the subject of Migrant Workers in Society and Law in Germany. Two publications have been dedicated to him on his 75th birthday in, one in German and one in Turkish.
