Sheila Lynch-Afryl is a senior writer/analyst in the Health Law editorial team of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. She has been with the company since 2011. Sheila’s areas of concentration include Medicare benefits, coverage, and reimbursement; healthcare compliance; and state health law. Sheila is the lead editor of E-dition Compliance Monitor Plus, Medicare Explained, and Physicians’ Medicare Guide and contributes to the Medicare and Medicaid Guide, Health Reform WK-EDGE, and Health Law Daily. Her additional publication credits include the annual Medicare Master Guide; CCH Law, Explanation, and Analysis of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; and the Health Care Compliance Newsletter. Sheila earned her undergraduate degree and J.D. from Valparaiso University and her Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University. Sheila previously worked in private practice and as a judicial clerk for an Illinois Appellate Court justice.
