Sheila Lynch-Afryl is an Editorial Lead in the Health Law editorial team of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S., with areas of expertise in Medicare benefits, coverage, and reimbursement; health reform; health care compliance; and state health law. She is the lead editor of the Medicare and Medicaid Guide, E-dition Compliance Monitor Plus, and Medicare Explained and contributes to Health Law Daily, Health Reform WK-EDGE, and the annual Medicare Master Guide. Sheila earned her undergraduate degree and J.D. from Valparaiso University and her Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University. Sheila previously worked in private practice and as a judicial clerk for an Illinois Appellate Court justice. She joined Wolters Kluwer in 2011.
