Martín Pesce Cutri leads the data privacy team in Ferrere, in Montevideo (Uruguay). He is also a member of the Intellectual Property team.
He advised the Uruguayan Government on processes for adjusting to the new regulatory framework on personal data protection and access to public information. He advises numerous multinational companies operating in Uruguay on defining their policies for managing personal data and information assets. He is also involved in Intellectual Property negotiations and agreements. Of recent note have been image rights assignment and sponsorship agreements involving well-known players on the Uruguayan national soccer team that participated in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and 2011 South American Championship.
He frequently participates in academic events and speaks on personal data protection. He is the author of numerous specialized articles for national and international publication. Mr. Pesce Cutri received his degree as attorney in 2005 from Universidad de la República (Uruguay).
