Kelsey's practice is focused in the areas of Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation. She has extensive experience working with governmental, non-profit, and for-profit employers on all aspects of qualified and non-qualified plans, welfare benefit plans, fringe benefit plans, and executive compensation plans. She routinely represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor in matters involving employee benefits.
Kelsey counsels and assists clients with establishing and maintaining qualified retirement plans while ensuring compliance with ERISA and Internal Revenue Code; designing and restructuring plans to take advantage of new rules; and advises employers on plan corrections, plan terminations and executive compensation arrangements.
Well regarded in her field, Kelsey presents at continuing education activities with NCACPA, NFP’s Benefit Bootcamps, and speaks in panel discussions, webcasts and annual conferences with American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). She participates and serves on several ASPPA Committees while also volunteering regularly with several area non-profits.
