Joy P. Waltemath is currently Managing Editor for Employment Law Daily and compliance-related Bankruptcy, Energy, Insurance, Products Liability and Safety, and Transportation products for Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. She has almost 35 years of experience in analyzing and explaining legislative, regulatory, and case law developments in corporate, employment, human resources, and workplace safety law. Prior to her current management responsibilities, Joy was editorial manager of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S.’s HR, employment, and safety product lines. Her publication credits include the design and development of Employment Law Daily and the HR Compliance Library, the HR How-To Guide series, the Law, Explanation, and Analysis of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and a number of other articles and blog postings. Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Joy practiced First Amendment law. She holds a B.A. with high honors from Eckerd College and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated first in her class. Joy is licensed to practice law in Florida.
