Jeff concentrates on the regulation of trade and investment, including day-to-day compliance and with interventions - such as audits and investigations, and civil enforcement proceedings. Jeff also assists deal teams (at Crowell and at other firms) with due diligence on trade risk in M&A, private equity, and other transactions. Jeff has focused on emerging issues in international trade regulation, including transatlantic, multijurisdictional and global compliance issues, and new technologies, such as cloud and blockchain.

Jeff has also been consistently recognized by The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers for his work in trade and customs.
