Ivelisse Berio LeBeau has more than 25 years of experience in employee benefits law. She joined the Wagner Law Group in 2020, where her practice continues to focus on ERISA, employee benefits, and employment law. She has been in private practice since 2007. Earlier in her career Ms. Berio LeBeau served as a Trial Attorney in the Office of the Solicitor of the U.S. Department of Labor. Following law school she served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Joseph P. Warner, former Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Ms. Berio LeBeau is a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and active in the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor & Employment Law. She is Editor in Chief of the Fourth Edition of Employee Benefits Law, published by Bloomberg BNA, and its annual supplements through 2018. Ivelisse is a frequent speaker on employee benefits law topics at conferences, seminars, and webinars sponsored by organizations such as the ABA’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefits and the Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section.
Ms. Berio LeBeau is bilingual and bicultural, crediting her fluency in Spanish to her Puerto Rican roots.
