Hrvoje Lisicar

Hrvoje Lisicar is an assistant professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. He received his PhD in 2012, for his doctoral thesis on ‘The Influence of High Technologies on Legal Regulation of Electronic Media’. Hrvoje teaches several courses at the Faculty of Law,  University of Zagreb, including Electronic Media Law, Information Technology Law, Internet Governance and Regulation, Electronic Media
Law, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity, Introduction to Information Security and Privacy and Electronic Communications. He is also a lecturer for the postgraduate programme in Rights of Children (course – Media and Children) organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. His academic research focuses on the regulation of electronic media, Internet governance, data protection and information law and policy affecting the flow of information in digital society. Hrvoje is the author and co-author of numerous publications on the regulation of electronic media, data protection, self -regulation and co-regulation in online media. As a member of numerous working groups, he was involved in the process of drafting national strategies and laws that regulate information security and online media in Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Academy of Legal Science.
