With 29 years of experience as an attorney in the employee benefits industry, Frank brings knowledge, professionalism and an understanding of the fiduciary and compliance landscape to his relationships. This includes five years as a Journeyman Level Investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor – Employee Benefits Security Administration. He is well known as a trusted, knowledgeable and innovative consultant, helping clients do more with their assets and resources as they work to shape their future.
Frank’s primary focus is on Employee Benefits law and regulations (ERISA). He has authored seven textbooks and numerous articles for industry trade magazines and journals in this area of law. Frankhas served as a subject matter expert witness in civil litigation matters. He has also been a featured speaker at trade conferences across the United States. Frank provides guidance on fiduciary duties regarding all phases of employee benefits from design to administration, investments and regulatory oversight.
Frank is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and the University of Cincinnati with his Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Science in Education/Criminal Justice. Frank is also a member of the Ohio State Bar, the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans and is a Fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and has attained his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation. Frank has been designated a Leading Lawyer in the city of Cincinnati from 2009 through 2013 by Cincy Magazine and a Super Lawyer in the State of Ohio by Law & Politics Magazine from 2009 through 2013.
